COVID-19  We are in an ever changing situation at the moment.  We are working to process all the queries and concerns as fast as possible and thank you for your patience  and understanding.   Our office of 30 years has been through many different situations,  wars, nuclear melts downs, sep 11, saars, and much more and together we will get through this one as well.

It is impossible to list all the terms and conditions for all eventualities,  but the best policy is to hold on and as your booking comes into range 4-6 weeks  before travel departure,  we should have some choices for you that are offered by the airline, cruise or tour company.

Most clients are opting for moving their travel on.  Just keep in mind at the moment your air tickets are valid from one year from date of issuance.  We hope this may change.

Whether you are travelling for work or play you can be sure you are in the right hands at The World @ Braeside Travel.

Established in 1989, Director Karen Kenter and her globetrotting team of consultants have helped curate countless memories and experiences for their customers ranging from a quiet couples getaway, great family holidays,  to a 200-person strong international convention.

With your tastes and budget at the forefront of every itinerary, the team at The World @ Braeside Travel look forward to planning your next trip.

Spring Newsletter

We've turned 30! September saw The World @ Braeside Travel hit the momentous milestone of 30 years in business. Now we've had the winter break, and with the emergence of Spring, it's time to start planning for travel in 2020 with our Spring Newsletter. It's been a busy winter with Jo and Lisa both travelling overseas, and Karen and Jo both moving into their new homes.

Have you Heard about Second Cities?

If you’re interested in the kind of travel that subverts the expected and leaves room for experiences that locals would actually want to take part in - why not try a "second city"? The phrase “second cities” is often used to refer to a city with the second-highest population in a country; however when used to describe an approach to travel, it means any city that might not be the first or most obvious choice for foreign tourists, but still offers the culture, food, charm, and attractions that travelers seek when they go abroad.

There are countless destinations that fall into this category. For example, instead of heading to Mexico City try Guadalajara, instead of Rome head to Milan, Porto rather than Lisbon. Alternatively why not fly into Lyon instead of Paris, skip Dublin and start in Cork or make for Cordoba rather than Buenos Aires.

We trust that these will inspire you to change the way you think about travel.

Rice for Cambodia

We are personally involved in our charity of choice.  We work with Life and Hope association and Green Gecko in Siem Reap.  Karen has taken a group over each year to see the projects in action. Every cent goes to the kids.
